The roster

Stop counting heads in the chat

One tap says you're in. The roster closes on a deadline you set, so the team you plan around is the team that shows up.

In or out, one tap

Confirm from the game link — no reply-all, no scrolling back through 60 messages to count who said yes.

A deadline that actually holds

Confirmations close a set number of hours before kickoff. After that only an admin can change the list, so late drop-outs are visible instead of silent.

Bringing a friend? +1

Guests take real spots and count as extra shares of the expenses, billed to whoever brought them. They never touch anyone's stats.

A game in SoloFútbol: house rules, an I'm-in button, and the list of who has confirmed.

The teams

Fair sides, picked before you arrive

Turning up to captains picking teams is how the same three ringers end up on one side. SoloFútbol deals the teams for you.

The confirmed roster with each player assigned to the black or cyan side, and a guest shown as +2.

Balanced by record, not by ego

Players are ranked by wins minus losses, then dealt out in a snake draft, so the strong players land on opposite sides instead of stacking.

First to confirm, first to play

Sides are named by the bib they wear — black is whoever stays in their own kit — so nobody has to remember whether they were A or B. Too many for one game makes a third side that rotates in, and a player bringing guests always lands with them.

Captains and house rules

Name a captain per team to keep score, and pin your rotation rules to the game so nobody relitigates them on the pitch.

On the pitch

One clock everybody can see

The rotation clock used to live in somebody's head, and the score lived in an argument. Both now live on the screen — and the clock belongs to the game rather than to the phone that started it.

Start, pause, resume

Stopped for an injury? The round picks up at the exact second it paused. Every phone counts down to the same instant, so a screen that went to sleep shows the truth the moment you wake it.

An alarm you can actually hear

It rings out loud even with the phone on silent, which is how a phone at a pitch always is — and it keeps ringing until somebody stops it, instead of one chirp everyone misses.

Goals as they go in

Tap the side that scored. First to two sounds the alarm, and the winner is already on the screen rather than something four people have to agree on afterwards.

Nothing ends by itself

Time up? It keeps counting. The ball may still be in play and there may be a shout about whether the last one crossed the line, so only a person ends a round.

The live game screen: a 6:52 countdown gone red because Blue has reached two goals, with Silence alarm, Pause and Reset, the sides at Black 1 and Blue 2, and an End round button.

The app

Coming to iPhone and Android

Everything here already works in the browser. The app adds the parts a web page can't do: reaching your pocket, writing to your calendar, and keeping score where there's no signal.

A game in the app with three sides drawn — Black, Blue and Orange, four players each — above a button reading Rotation running.

Told, not tagged

A notification when the teams go up or the money is due. No @everyone, and no paying for a text nobody reads.

In your real calendar

Games go straight into the calendar your phone already uses — and move when an admin moves them, which a downloaded file never does.

Works with no signal

Score a whole night on a pitch with one bar. Rounds queue on the phone and send themselves when the signal comes back, and a round somebody else already recorded is refused rather than counted twice.

Not in the stores yet

It's built and being tested. Until it lands, add the site to your home screen — it does everything except the four things above.

The money

Never chase $13.34 again

The worst job in any group is collecting for the field. Log what was spent, split it, done — down to the cent.

Exact to the last cent

A $40.01 field split three ways is 13.34, 13.34, 13.33 — never a rounding error someone has to eat, and the same person doesn't always absorb it.

Card or cash, both first-class

Charge saved cards automatically, or record the cash someone handed you. Groups that have never used a card work exactly the same way.

Every dollar traceable

Balances are derived from a ledger, not a counter someone can nudge. Each amount points back to a specific game, and you settle up before you can leave a group.

Thursday · settled

  • Field rental$120.00
  • Gatorade + water$18.50
  • Beers after$21.51
Total · 8 heads$160.01
  • Miguel$20.01
  • Andrés$20.00
  • Tomás +1$40.00
  • Diego$20.00
  • Rafa$20.00
  • Javi$20.00
  • Nico$20.00

Tomás brought a friend, so he covers two shares. Every cent adds up to the total — no one eats the rounding.

The bragging rights

Somebody has to be top of the table

Attendance and results turn a weekly kickabout into a season worth arguing about.

Two tables, one league

Who shows up most (last 30 days or 6 months) and who actually wins — ranked across every group you play in.

Scores from the pitch

Any captain or admin records the final score straight after the game. No spreadsheet, no arguing on Monday.

A player card worth sharing

Photo, games played, win-loss record — one link you can drop in the chat. The same record is what balances next week's teams, so form actually means something.

The attendance leaderboard, ranked over the last six months with medals for the top three.

For the organizer

Set it up once, then stop admin-ing

If you're the one booking the field every week, this is the part that gives you your evenings back.

Recurring games, scheduled ahead

Set "Thursdays, 9pm, Memorial Park" once and games appear eight weeks out — daylight-saving shifts handled, so 9pm stays 9pm.

One-offs and reschedules

Add a friendly or a makeup game in seconds. Move a game and the roster clears itself, because nobody agreed to the new time yet.

Reconcile without a spreadsheet

Per-player balances, mark-as-paid for cash, manual charges and credits — and a pre-filled field cost so you're not retyping it weekly.

How it fits

It lives next to your group chat

Not another social network to maintain. Your group already has one — this just replaces the parts of it that don't work.

Nothing to install

It's a website that behaves like an app. Works on any phone, nothing to download, nothing to update.

Sign in with your phone

A code arrives over WhatsApp — SMS if WhatsApp doesn't reach you. No passwords to forget or reset.

Links that survive the tap

Share a game to the chat and it opens the right page, even for someone signing in for the first time.

Worth knowing

Invite only, on purpose

There's no public signup. A group admin adds your phone number, and that's the only way in — which is exactly what you want for a group of friends who play together. It also means we can't sell you a plan today; if you run a group and want to use it, get in touch below.

Deliberately not built: a WhatsApp bot, or video. Your group chat already does that better.
